How to Make the Perfect Coffee With Your Chemex
Chemex-coffee-brew-tips
Want to get the most out of your Chemex pour-over coffee maker? Try these tips.
Heat pure or filtered water to 200 degrees or bring water to a boil and then let it stand for 30 seconds. Place a cone filter in the Chemex and add 6 Tablespoons of coarse ground LCCR coffee. Cover grounds with hot water and let filter. Gently move grounds around with a butter knife or a chopstick to make sure no dry clumps remain. After 45 seconds, add more water, and continue to add water until you’ve made the desired amount or about 3 cups. Remove the filter and serve immediately.
