MAKE YOUR OWN ESPRESSO POWDER

Lots of recipes call for espresso powder, but did you know you can make your own from our RED ROSE EXPRESSO beans? Brew a pot of Red Rose Espresso and save the grinds. Let them cool slightly and spread the grounds onto a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 2-3 hours in a 170-degree oven, until the grounds are dry, crumbly, and fragrant. Let cool completely, and then grind the grounds again, ‘til they are fine and almost powdery. Store in a cool, dark spot in a tightly sealed jar or container. Use in all your favorite recipes!

Go Italian with Affogato! First, freeze the serving bowl or cup for at least 15 minutes. Next, brew Red Rose Espresso (as an espresso or as a strong brew.)
