Whoopie Pie Coffee Pops

Looking for a fun and flavorful way to level up your iced coffee this summer? Try Coffee Pops—frozen swizzle sticks made from your favorite Lancaster County Coffee. These pops keep your drink cold without watering it down and add a touch of creamy sweetness with every stir. Here's how to make this simple, refreshing treat.

Ingredients:

  • Lancaster County Coffee (any roast or flavor you love—try Chocolate Pecan or French Vanilla!)

  • Sweetener (sugar, honey, or syrup of your choice)

  • Creamer (oat milk, almond creamer, half and half, etc.)

  • Optional: vanilla extract, cinnamon, or cocoa powder for extra flavor

Equipment:

  • Freezer pop molds (make sure they’re narrow enough to fit in a tall glass)

Instructions:

Step 1: Brew Your Coffee
Brew a strong pot of your favorite Lancaster County Coffee. You can use traditional hot brew and let it cool, or make a batch of cold brew for even smoother flavor.

Step 2: Customize the Flavor
Add your favorite sweetener and creamer to the brewed coffee while it’s still warm (if hot brewed) or after straining (if cold brewed). Stir until everything is fully blended. For a flavor twist, try adding a dash of vanilla extract or a pinch of cinnamon.

Step 3: Fill the Molds
Carefully pour the sweetened, flavored coffee into freezer pop molds. Leave a little room at the top for expansion during freezing. Make sure the molds are the right size to fit into the glasses you’ll be using.

Step 4: Freeze Overnight
Place the molds in the freezer and let them freeze solid. This typically takes 8–12 hours, so it’s easiest to leave them overnight.

Serving Tips:

  • Use flavored coffees to match your mood—try Hazelnut for cozy vibes or Highlander Grogg for something sweet and unexpected.

  • Hosting friends? Serve a tray of cold brew with a variety of pops so guests can mix and match flavors.

Why We Love It:
Coffee Pops are a genius way to keep your iced coffee strong and flavorful without dilution. Plus, they’re fun, customizable, and perfect for lazy summer afternoons in Lancaster County—or wherever you enjoy your brew.

Happy sipping!
