Honey Lavender Latte

This spring drink is light and lovely. This latte is a snap to make if you have access to lavender syrup, but just in case, we’ve also provided an alternate lavender ingredient at the end of the recipe.

Start with 1 cup of strongly brewed RED ROSE ESPRESSO. Add 1 Tablespoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of good vanilla, and 1 teaspoon of lavender syrup. Top with foamed milk, a bit of cream, or a dollop of whipped cream.

If you don’t have lavender syrup, steep 2 tablespoons of fresh or dried lavender in ¼ cup of hot simple syrup for 1 hour. (Look for dried lavender at better grocery stores in the spice section). Strain and refrigerate leftovers.

Not sure how to make simple syrup? Just add ¼ cup of granulated sugar to ¼ cup of boiling water. Stir till dissolved, and cool. Refrigerate leftovers in a sealed container.
